Jocelyn Pritchett, PE is a civil engineer and city planner with 30 years of experience in the field of transportation. She holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and a second Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She currently co-owns, serves as CFO and President of the Board for Pritchett Steinbeck Group, Inc, a local engineering firm with offices in Tampa, FL and Raleigh, NC. In 2016, Jocelyn and her wife successfully brought legal action against the State of Mississippi to have their marriage recognized in their home state. Jocelyn was the first woman to serve as the President of Board for the Mississippi Engineering Society and the first openly gay person to run for statewide office in Mississippi. She now lives in South Tampa with her wife, Carla and their two children Grace and Ethan.
